26A - Celebrating Failure

1) This semester, I lost a friend's trust after I spoke about him to a another friend and he found out. This was not a good approach and I should have been upfront and honest with him. It is much better to be honest and talk through to someone about how you feel than to tell someone else, even though it may be hard.
2) I learned that out of respect for the other person, it is better to be honest than to put on a facade or not be straightforward. Trust is at stake and it takes much more time to build trust than to break it, and once trust is lost. It takes time to build back. I learned that if someone has value in your life, than it is worthwhile to treat that person as such and treat them as you would want to be treated.
3) Failure is most definitely hard, and embarrassing. It takes fortitude and humility to be able to learn from failure and move on from it. Change is essential, and for me personally when I don't overthink the process of change and let it occur naturally, it works out well. After I go through the reflection period for enough time, change will occur on its own and any overthinking thoughts only inhibit change. I would say that yes I am more willing to take a risk after taking this class.

    Hello, friends are hard to come around and honesty can make a relationship stronger. I’m sure what ever the situation was it was fixed immediately. I’ve learned the hard way with a similar situation. I agree with you that change is essential. I think it helps us grow and builds a stronger relationship with yourself. Alternative Evaluation : Based on the interviews I conducted, I found that all three of my interviewees stated that price was the largest factor when it came to buying something, however quality was seen as very important as well. Two of the three interviewees stated that they would pay a higher price for a better quality product that would last longer. The style was the next most important thing in all of the interviews, after quality. How/where do they buy? Based on the interviews, buying in person appeared to be more popular than buying through e-commerce because of wanting things instantly. If the product is available in store, then the consumers are more likely to buy in store than online. Whether or not the financing was preferred over buying something outright was largely dependent on the person's financial status. Forming an opportunity Belief

I believe there is a dilemma with poor lighting in the city of Gainesville. Many of my friends and people that come to my house state that they were a bit scared coming to my house because it was very dark outside and they didn't know where they were going. Many people tend to avoid walking through the northeast of campus as well because it is poorly lit and does not create a welcoming atmosphere.
