18A - Create a customer avatar

I imagine my avatar being a hard-working young lady. She drives a white Prius and enjoys working out and going on walks in her spare time. She has no children, but has a dog and enjoys taking her dog out for walks every night before she goes to bed. She is focused on making a living and pushing her career forwards. She enjoys reading books in her spare time, and instead of watching TV shows this is how she spends leisure time.

I feel that I am primarily concerned with getting a career figured out for myself and love dogs, so I share those traits in common with this young lady. I also believe that reading books is a better way to spend my time as it opens me up to new perspectives.

    Jason, your customer avatar oddly has so much in common with one of my friends so I know that your description definitely applies to people in the real world. I share your interests in books but I think I prefer short stories because of their presentation style. I hope you continue pursuing your success and pushing your career forward.

Alternative Evaluation : Based on the interviews I conducted, I found that all three of my interviewees stated that price was the largest factor when it came to buying something, however quality was seen as very important as well. Two of the three interviewees stated that they would pay a higher price for a better quality product that would last longer. The style was the next most important thing in all of the interviews, after quality. How/where do they buy? Based on the interviews, buying in person appeared to be more popular than buying through e-commerce because of wanting things instantly. If the product is available in store, then the consumers are more likely to buy in store than online. Whether or not the financing was preferred over buying something outright was largely dependent on the person's financial status. Forming an opportunity Belief

I believe there is a dilemma with poor lighting in the city of Gainesville. Many of my friends and people that come to my house state that they were a bit scared coming to my house because it was very dark outside and they didn't know where they were going. Many people tend to avoid walking through the northeast of campus as well because it is poorly lit and does not create a welcoming atmosphere.
